Who we are
Romanr Mnov (“we”, “us”) runs the free-to-play games website at romanrmnov.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it under UK data protection law.
Romanr Mnov is operated by (company number ), .
What we collect
- When you sign up with email: first name, last name, email address and a password. Your password is turned into a scrambled, one-way code (a hash) before it is saved, so we never keep it as you typed it.
- If you sign up with Google: your name, verified email address and Google account ID, checked by our server with Google. We don’t receive your Google password.
- Your play details: coin balance, xp and level, the time you last collected the daily bonus, the date you joined, your last sign-in, and a counter of failed sign-in attempts (five wrong tries lock the account for 15 minutes).
- When you contact us: your name, email, topic and message.
- Security records: a simple log of sign-up and sign-in events (date, event type and email address). Passwords are never written to it.
We don’t ask for, and never store, card or bank details. There is nothing to pay for on Romanr Mnov.
Where it is kept
Your account is stored on our server as a protected file that can’t be opened from the web. We don’t use a public database. It stays there until you delete your account from the account page or ask us to delete it.
Messages sent through the contact or Player Care forms are emailed from our server to our support inbox, and a copy is kept in a protected log on our server so we can reply and check that the message arrived. We keep it only as long as needed to deal with your request.
In your browser only: your 18+ confirmation, your cookie notice choice and your list of recently opened games stay in your own browser storage. They are not sent to us.
Why we use it
- To create and run your account, coins and level (needed to provide the service you ask for)
- To check you are 18+ and in the UK (a legal and responsible-play need)
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse (our legitimate interests)
- To reply when you contact us
We don’t sell your information and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Our email delivery provider (an SMTP service) sends the messages you submit through our forms to our inbox.
- Google Sign-In, only if you choose it. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that sign-in.
- Our hosting provider, which stores our files and, like any web host, may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
Our games are our own and are loaded from our own website. We don’t pass your account details to them. Fonts are served from our own website, not from a third party.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to how it is used, or ask for a copy. You can delete your account yourself at any time from the account page. To make any other request use the contact form or email . You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account we will delete it.
Cookies
See our Cookies Policy for the few things we store in your browser.
